Please RSVP Taking place during Maths Week England, the Maths Week Parliamentary Expo will bring together leaders from academia, education, industry and politics to show how the mathematical sciences contribute to research, innovation and prosperity.

The Expo will include interactive displays with all the latest data regarding UK mathematical sciences and will include exhibitors such as UK Knowledge Exchange Hub for Mathematical Sciences, Maths for Deep Learning, Brainspark Games, and the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences.

As well as Chi Onwurah MP, we will also be joined a range of speakers including Professor Cathy Hobbs, Chair of the Heilbronn Institute. The Secretary of State for Science and Technology has been invited.

To ensure the UK’s future prosperity, we need clear signals from the Government that the mathematical sciences are understood, prioritised and supported by strategic investment and policy decisions.

To this end, the Expo will provide an opportunity for the maths community to set out what we need from Government to thrive, as outlined in our Plan for Maths.
